infoG Professional Advice Clinic

What is infoG PAC?

With our strong customer focus, in addition to infoG Screen and the related products and services that are already servicing a wide range of financial institutions, audit and corporate secretarial firms, we now offer infoG PAC (acronym for “professional advice clinic”) that caters to a wider user-base including members of the public.

infoG PAC is our new Q&A platform whereby a panel of experienced auditors, accountants, and tax professionals will answer any questions that you may have, or provide quick advisory services, in areas including but not limited to:

  • Corporate secretarial, tax, accounting and audit matters;
  • Corporate finance, due diligence, valuation and IPO;
  • Group restructuring, divestiture, merger and acquisition.

It is developed with an aim of helping our users to create value by taking informed and knowledgeable actions, in line with our vision to “make information and knowledge accessible to all in the society”.

Chris Choo

Business Advisor

Chris started his career in 1993 with Deloitte Singapore and left in 2006. He then joined Mazars Singapore (formerly known as Moores Rowland) in 2006 and became an audit partner until 2014. In 2014, he set up Wellton & Trent network and started providing advisory and related financial services to audit firms, corporate secretarial companies, listed and non-listed companies.

His years of experience in the advisory and assurance industry include Public Interest Entities and MNC, working in accounting, finance, valuation, IT, merger & acquisition and IPO. He holds the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) qualification and is a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and a Fellow Chartered Certified Accountants of UK.

His industry experience includes manufacturing, semiconductor, construction, hospitality, statutory boards, retails, electronics, shipping, IT and logistics.

Jimmy Chan

Audit Partner

Jimmy has been in the accounting and audit profession for more than 15 years and was previously from a Big 4 accounting firm and subsequent with a mid-tier firm.

He has been involved in IPO aspirants, publicly listed companies and small and medium-sized enterprises, and operates in diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, marine, mining, distribution, service and trading.

He also works closely with the management and the finance teams of organisations in setting up and strengthening their accounting and management reporting system, including preparing monthly management accounts, cash flow reports, consolidated accounts and preparation of investment proposals.

He is currently a (practicing) Chartered Accountant in Singapore.

Ju Jia

Head of Internal Audit

Ju Jia started her career with China Construction Bank, Shanghai Branch, as manager focusing on credit and business analysis, including legal documentation, from 1993 to 1999.

She later relocated to Singapore and work as a financial controller with Nova Technology/Marketech Integrated Pte Ltd (subsidiaries of a large semiconductor company listed on Taipei Stock Exchange) from 1999 to 2005. She then continued as financial controller with Financial Payment Systems Limited (listed on AIM of London Stock Exchange) from 2005 till 2008 before joining JCH Home Furniturings Co., Ltd as CFO from 2008 till 2011.

She joined CEFC International Limited (listed on SGX) from 2011 till 2016 as CFO and re-designated in the same company as head of internal audit from 2017 to present.

Siah Seng Kiat

Consultant

Seng Kiat started his career as an auditor in Deloitte before moving on to take up Asia Pacific regional leadership roles in finance, M&A, strategy development, business management, FP&A and taxation.

His industry experience includes auditing, edible oils and grains, chemical, FMCG, and semi-conductor.  In his over twenty years of career, he has worked for Big 4 audit firm, Asian conglomerate, US MNC and Chinese company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.  He was also out-stationed in China for more than 7 years, during which he gained vast knowledge of the Chinese business and regulatory environment.

Seng Kiat holds an honours degree for Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore.
